GH2780QD is the popular Series 2 version, and features a hybrid quick release system which comes with an Arca-style plate but also accepts the traditional Gitzo C-profile plates. The camera/plate can be snapped into the head from above, which is faster and easier than trying to slide it in from the side. By simply removing the adaptor from the head, it will also take Gitzo C-profile plates, especially useful for photographers who already own and use our plates as standard.
