Our A2 book scanner fixture is made with 1/2” lightweight Sintra and is hinged for up to 180-degree openings. Magnetic catches prevent inadvertent opening. Each comes with two Device level targets and eight satellite SFR targets for measuring resolution, SFR, and illumination non-uniformity over the entire platen area. Finger pull depressions are provided to allow easy removal and replacement of each target element. Target elements are also held in place with neodymium magnets to prevent targets from falling out during transport or vertical mounting.
Note: This size target is suitable for most book scanning units such as Atiz BookDrives, DigitalTransitions BCS, Qidenus, and most other book cradle devices.
These targets are designed to fit discreetly alongside objects being digitized without adding significant image data and is intended to enable image digitization quality control and workflow monitoring.
Stand-alone GoldenThread software is intended for customers who have digitized material and need to inspect completed jobs. It is ideal for ensuring that a job has been completed to the specifications defined in a job profile.
Automatic full-scale tone and white balance correction software with dark or light background cropping. For use when GoldenThread software indicates digitization is out of spec and correction is necessary. Object Level Target information is utilized to correct digitized file.
This is a companion to the object-level target and designed to allow scanner performance measurements over a larger field of view. In addition to enabling the same ISO metrics as the object-level target, it can provide for measuring illumination uniformity, spatial distortion and resolution variability over the target’s areal coverage. This target is best suited for scanner benchmarking or session-to-session quality control and is compatible with GoldenThreadsoftware.
