Confused by all the holders, adapters filters and the gobbledygook that comes when first attempting to buy a filter set- Then RELAX! – We have put together everything you need – A Multi slot Modular filter holder, complete with your respective adapter ring ( if you’re confused about what filter adapter you need – take a peek inside your lens cap. If it says 55mm you need the 55mm adapter – If it says 62mm then you need 62mm).
This set comes ready to fit to your camera lens with the standard angle adapter of your choice and comes complete with a 1, 2 and 3 stop filter, which can be used singularly or combined with each other to create higher factors of graduation.
What is the difference between HARD and SOFT grad filters I hear you ask?
Soft Grad filters have a very gentle, organic graduation – which lends itself to hilly landscape, much more-so than the Hard Grad. Hard Grad comes into its own when photographing seascapes of landscapes which have a very definite horizontal demarcation line.

Rethinking the accepted norm of the modular filter holder, the Formatt Hitech Firecrest 100 Holder not only allows use of 100mm wide filters but gives a novel and much needed practicality to the use of polarisers. Unlike the traditional holder with it's separate and externally mounted polarising ring, the Firecrest Holder mounts a 82mm polariser internally. Utilising a rotating 82mm adapter ring, the filter is easily turned using the control wheel on the side of the holder. Not only does it allow for a smaller, flatter and less cumbersome combination but the supplied Formatt Hitech Firecrest 82mm Ultraslim filter can be used on it's own! With it's highly efficient Firecrest Multicoating the filter reduces the danger of flare to a minimum
