The Formatt Hitech Firecrest 100 Holder mounts a 82mm polariser internally. Utilising a rotating 82mm adapter ring, the filter is easily turned using the control wheel on the side of the holder. Not only does it allow for a smaller, flatter and less cumbersome combination but the supplied Formatt Hitech Firecrest 82mm Ultraslim filter can be used on it’s own! With it’s highly efficient Firecrest Multicoating the filter reduces the danger of flare to a minimum

Innovative Use with Long Exposure Filters The Firecrest Holder uses a aluminium back plate for stability and strength and is fitted with 2 filter slots for use with ND or ND Grad filters.

In addition the special Anti-Reflection Outer Case can be used to enclose a ND filter for complete and effective sealing.

Unlike the existing holder systems on the market, the Firecrest Holder has ONE 82mm adapter ring and then additional stepping rings are supplied to use down to a 67mm filter thread. Even smaller size rings are available if required. No longer is there a requirement for a Standard or Wide Angle Ring with the resultant cost and additional complexity.
