SuperSpeed USB has a 5 Gbps signaling rate offering 10x performance increase over USB 2.0.

The 15 foot(4.6m) USB 3.0 cable connects to the camera using the Micro B connector to ensure delivery of excellent performance. Can be connected to the TetherPro TBPRO USB3.0 Pro Core Controller for an additional 4.6m (15 ft ) of extension if required. The extension offers a voltage stabilised connector and can be powered by a external battery or mains adapter for signal boosting.

For photographers shooting tethered using a USB 3.0 cable connection, we recommend the use of a TetherBlock over the JerkStopper Camera Support to keep the cable connected as USB 3.0 data ports are shallow and the cable connection is thin.
