As of the 28th August, all serialised Phase One products will come with a 1 Year Classic Warranty by default, and eligible items will require product registration to have the full benefits of their 5 Year Value Added Warranty. This better enables Phase One, and Teamwork as your UK Partner, to keep you up to date with firmware updates, expired warranties, as well as new products and upgrades.
The process is simple, and can be done either directly through Capture One Pro or registration on through your account on the Phase One website. You can register before or after the 1 Year Classic Warranty has expired, in order to extend this to the 5 Year VA Warranty (where applicable). For instance, if service is needed after 2 years, you can still register your equipment in order to get this done under warranty.
If you have purchased Phase One equipment second hand, then you can register the items in order to transfer the warranty over. Upon registering your equipment, the warranty is an extension on the default 1 year, it is not extended from the date of registration.
