Schneider 80mm f5.6 Macro Symmar HM lens

This is a macro lens for photography of small objects, documents or artwork with very high quality and low distortion. This lens can be used with film formats between 6x9 cm and 8x10 inch, depending on the exact application. The most common use of this lens will be with 4x5 inch film for magnifications greater than 1:1. Be sure to read the technical data regarding magnification, format coverage and bellows extension.

The Macro-Symmar lens from Schneider is a quality photographic lens for medium and large formats, particularly excelling in close work. It is an 8-element lens computed for 1:1. This lens can be used for copying flat copy and other material with the highest resolution. Reductions or enlargements in ratios of 1:2 or 2:1 can be produced without problem. The ratio range can be extended between 1:4 and 4:1 for normal product photography and for table-top photography, as well as machine vision applications.
