Applied Craftsmanship is the first independent course developed
for the Capture One application. Using a combination of
explanation, philosophy, technique and extensive step by
step exercises. Applied Craftsmanship builds confidence in
the advanced tools of Capture One. Through this confidence,

workflows that reduce post work, build unique looks and build a
stronger relationship with capture and lighting.
Course contents include an extensive discussion of the philosophy of digital
capture and ways to minimize post production while creating better work
faster. Courses include:

- Overlay and creative scaling techniques
To make the most of this opportunity Phase One have booked 2 seminars. These will be based on The Phase One Difference with emphasis on Capturing the Moment and reducing time spent in post-production. We will of course also be showing the New P+ backs during the seminars
On Thursday 31st May we will host the seminar at The Source in Sheffield at 2pm. The Source is just off junction 34 of the M1 so is extremely easy to get to. We hope can people from the North West, North East and Midlands can attend this event. You can find details of the venue at The Source.
On Friday 1st June at 2pm we will host a similar seminar at Holborn Studios in London, Holborn Studios Website.

Keeping your Phase One loan unit
If you purchase/have purchased a Phase One back that isn't shipping yet, you will be given a loan unit by Phase One to use until your purchased back is available. When it does become available, you may wish to buy and keep the loan unit (a 'keep me') as a backup, or maybe because you now need 2 backs!

As an educational institution you can now hire Phase One H5 & H10 units at a
very reasonable price per month for a year contract (12 months). The
packages are as follows:
- 5x H5 Digital Backs at £170.00 per month
- 5x H10 Digital Backs at £340.00 per month
The cost includes software and cables to connect to a Hasselblad v system
camera. Additional adapters to use the units on other camera setups are at

Teamwork Capture One Training Sessions
Having reviewed our end users needs, we are delighted to be able to offer
training in our central London show room. These will take place on a monthly
basis depending on demand. The cost will be £100.00 (inc VAT) per person.
After the success of the previous sessions, the next two will take place on
8th March 2007 from 6pm to 9pm
and the 5th April 2007 from 6pm to 9pm

take the opportunity to use the 3 hour session to show you all you need to
know to get the best out of the Capture One Pro software. We will stop for a
15 minute break half way and there will be lots of coffee and Tea on offer.
So That we can offer a good level of attention to each attendee places will
be limited to 10 per session.
The sessions will cover C1 Pro and Capture. If you come from a traditional film based environment, Teamwork can help you
with your transition to the digital workflow. We will teach you how to organise your Digital shoot, whether you use a PC
or Macintosh.
