Hitech 85 ND Grad Filter 0.3 (SOFT Edge) is a professional quality graduated filter with SOFT graduation. The SOFT graduation is the standard for general landscape work.

Hitech 85 Neutral Density Graduated filters enable the shooter to adjust exposure without affecting colour balance. Exposure can be increased by 1,2,3 stops to suit individual situations. For example, when photographing landscapes in which the sky is much brighter than the foreground, placing the neutral density part of the filter onto the sky in the frame will reduce the sky exposure without affecting the foreground. This enables cloud detail to be kept correctly exposed in the picture.

The Hitech filter system is manufactured by Formatt Filters to offer versatility and creative capabilities to stills photographers. Hitech filters are manufactured using the Queens Award winning CR39 dyed substrate. Formatt developed a method of colouring CR39 in its liquid state, thereby ensuring consistency and accuracy of colour.

These 84x110mm filters fit in the Cokin P filter holder* and are manufactured from the highest quality optical grade polyester resin.
